Evadale turn around is a good place or where the boat launch is. No houses to disturb

Good to be back home! I love camping but nothing beats your own bed. Just a couple of pics from the trip, had to call it off a day early because of a crazy change in weather.

Having this tent makes life so much easier, stayed high and dry.

Hanging off a cliff at Mt Baldy looking straight down

Looking out off of Mt Baldy

Looking down on the frio and the dam in Garner.

Nice little waterfall at Lost Maples State Park

Shitstorm that came through, brought 50mph winds, hail and alot of rain. Waited it out in the trucks then jumped in the tents after it passed. The storm brought 40 degree wind chills and we were not prepared for that.

Wife wanted proof that her truck has done truck stuff

It felt like it was, always makes me feel a little bit better sleeping that high off the ground.

On a side note, I should have my plasma cutter in hand in a couple of weeks. Once that happens I can start making the skids. @Overkill07 we should setup a weekend to make your happen. I have the metal on hand already to make an IFS skid and at leas the transmission skid for yours.

He was interested up to the point where he'd have to drive to the triangle... Btw Dennis I used a cutoff wheel on a grinder to get my flush mounts mounted in my rear bumper.
