I do take pride in my work. I have never dropped a pallet with or without slip sheets. I have rectangular prisms others have column stacked leaning towers of pisa or the common with new hires: upside down pyramid. Ive been called the best stacker in the warehouse by some. Also havent had an error since i was hired 5 years ago. Sooo. Yes i do take pride in my work. It puts food on my table and mods on my truck.

While the tent is better made than most, for the price point I expected a little more attention to detail.
    Expectations:
    - Tent would be seam sealed from the factory
    - Finer mesh used on windows
    - Foam would have a removable cover
    - Higher quality foam used
    - Switch would not be behind fan blades
    - Led light mount on both sides of the tent
    - Pockets on both sides of the tent
    - Less defects in shell & better clean up when using silicone from factory.
    - Don't see the purpose of the little raised spoiler part in the upper shell
    - Bolt heads stick up in bottom of shell

Keep in mind this seems like one of the higher quality RTT on the market. For the price point this is expected.

I also have very high expectations after years being in the backcountry. From bikepacking to high altitude mountaineeering I really like gear that performs. Tent could have implemented higher end materials and lost at least 20# for the same price point / profit margin. That being said I'm no expert at, anything and always learning.

Lol. You must wear the same headset

I'm glad I'm not doing that job anymore. It's a fast paced back breaker for sure. Hvac is much more laid back, and i don't feel the need to take a nap after work

I'm assuming you have some type of huge excel file that documents everything you've ever done to your truck mod/maintenance wise?

My wife would have fired me if I had tried stacking tires in the house on our wood floors.

Looks good! Wish mine were that easy.

    Great photos! Truck looks good.

Probably the best mod you can do for the bed of the truck!

So today, Drove the Tacoma into town to talk about secretly trading my wifes car in on a new Trail Premium 4Runner for her birthday and had a guy franticly wave me over to him. He said that he'd buy my truck so I wouldn't have to trade it in. I chuckled at the idea, as well as the compliment but informed him that the Tacoma will be listed in my will. Pointed him here to TacomaWorld.

I probably should. I like @Sandman614 's spreadsheet he had for frame maintenance work. That' was awesome.

What I do is just create an electronic calendar event for the work, and note the mileage and any notes. It's searchable, printable, and accessible from any phone / computer / device, etc.

I started a small excel a while back with install dates and maintenance but haven't touched it in awhile. I may need to revisit it soon.

I had an Excel list going from when I did a pre-purchase inspection checklist on my 01, which I bought used with 98k miles on it. Then in turned into the maintenance record.

Now I need to copy that and make it into the 2015 list.
