dammit Sam, i think i might be taking this wreck worse than you lol (might be a good thing for your sake)

this should be a good wake up call for ALL of us, this scares the shit outta me and im hoping it all works out good.

you taking the exhaust off? is it a cat-back or just a muffler?

i'm not really taking it very well, just hiding it :) i'm pissed off at myself more than anything but it was pretty scary. the exhaust is just a muffler, i probably won't be able to take that off unless we can sneak it off while they aren't watching!

i wonder if they would let you trailer it to a shop or garage for a day and get your aftermarket parts off and return it with the parts replaced?? i think worth the question to them..

Sorry to see and hear about your truck but I'm very glad that you are okay.

All things being equal, yes you had an accident and that's never good but there is good news. I appears the claim will be collision only and not medical costs and property damage. From the insurance company's standpoint, this is a minor claim.

Seriously, there is a reason these situations are called accidents. Don't be too hard on yourself and thank Him for watching over you.

Glad you're OK. I've wadded a streetbike before and didn't shed a tear, thanking the lord above I wasn't peeing in a bag for the rest of my life. No serious injuries is a good thing. Use this to upgrade from what you had.

damn, give me chill up to my spine. I am glad you're ok. Looking forward for your new truck. I am not sure if you said it total or not. If so, hope you can find new truck. I order silver 2010 DC TRD OR 4X4 last July and pick up on August 21st. Silver is bada$$ color. Hope your next one is silver or gray. LOOK GREAT!

They definitely won't let you haul it out to get stripped down before cutting you a check.

At most they'll give you access to gather your personal belongings from inside the vehicle, (that's your chance to strike and remove anything you can). Other than that you're outta luck.

After you make your decision on accepting it being totaled you can't lay a finger on it.

Be glad you are alive and thank God for your blessings. Last September, my Ducati and I were hit by a car. I broke four "T" vertebrae and shattered my elbow. I was unconcious for three days. I am still recovering, yes, but I am alive and walking. I am also back to work. Just lay low, think about things, count your losses, but remember your blessings. Hope you are ok.

Oh and one more thing...start researching your next Tacoma.
