Going in for my first service tomorrow.

I have the typical lurch forward on slowdown, N-D clumsiness, 4-6th gear roaming, It all goes away after about 10 -20 minutes after i start driving. Guessing low tranny fluid.

Other than the regular service for 5K, I'm having them check the transmission fluid level and u-joints.. Checked my u-joints yesterday and they are dry as a bone. Also went underneath and put nail-polish on overflow bolt to give me an indicator that they actually checked it..

    I'll post my results tomorrow.

They are gonna check it..... With the TechStream. They won't go into it and do it the correct way. You are better off checking it yourself. The hardest part is getting it into temp sense mode.

+1 for techstream. They won't be able to duplicate the issue because you said after 10-20min driving it goes away, so it will be gone when you get there, unless you live at the dealership. They won't get paid enough time to check it the proper way, and most techs have been taught to rely on techstream. I am hopeful you have different results, but not confident.

    Yup... You are all correct...

According to them it all checks out..
They did pull the plug ( I checked the plug and it was wet and the nail polish was gone), but I can't be sure that they checked it the proper way.
I'm planning on checking it myself very soon, when i do my own service next month.
