Auto here. I'm sure someone with a '16 manual will bring their thought eventually, but I'm driving the auto. I just move it over to the sport "manual" shifting mode to avoid it going into 6th gear.

Im about to pull the trigger on the Napier Sportz 57 Series Tent. What is your experience with it? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Awesome pic by the way.

We used for a few years a Sportz tent. Don't know the model, but was a good tent. 10x10 floor, set up on ground behind the truck, had a boot to envelope the entire rear of the truck, truck bed was bedroom, tent was living space. Was very effective set up. Could pull truck away, seal the boot up, drive away. Sportz seem good. Hope this gives something useful.

Thanks! The tent is solid. I've had it up a few times when the winds were high and it held up nice and strong. The quality of the tent is really good and the setup is pretty straight forward and it gets easier after the first try. The only downside is that you obviously lose bed space to store stuff over night. I usually just put everything in the back seats and under the truck. There have been a few times where I was too lazy to transfer everything over so I stored everything under my tonneau and pitched a regular tent.

Overall, the tent is pretty awesome.

I believe they do actually fold open like a book. Some of them at least from what I've seen. Instead of fighting with tent stakes in rocks or near the edge of a cliff, you can pop it open and go right to sleep. No stakes needed to be put in the hard ground.

Correct on the sort of like a pop-up tent. Here is a decent video demonstrating an ARB tent. It's a little long because the guy is taking his sweet time and giving tips, but you get the idea. The actual opening is around the 4:40 mark.

Or a much shorter video for the ones who would rather watch and talk less.
