CLASS ACTION INOFORMATION: Milligan Law (479) 783-0121 milliganlaw@sbcgloabl.net

There is a class action pending. if you have a rusted frame or even if you have traded your unsafe vehicle in due to the rusted frame please contact the law firm above. Get your name name added and pass on the information.

Bill Milligan stated that the end result they are looking for is to have Toyota buy back the effected vehicles.

Great, even more toyotas potentially lost forever due to another buyback. How about replacing the frames with a quality steel!!! If several more thousands of tacomas dissappear it will only again increase their value, they are already worth way way more than they should be bue to this stupid weak ass frame issue!

also, why not try and force them into giving everyone a free 2016/2017 taco equivalent instead of buying them back? :-D

I bet you get a premium price, seeing how people seek out Tacoma's, from the part of the country you live.

not really honestly. I paid 7500 for my truck in 2013 with 175k miles. that was kelly blue book value at the time. now I have no idea. with 202k miles nadaguide says clean retail is 5100-9500 and edmunds says 5400-6500. not sure what's what :notsure:

    kbb says 7600 for excellent.

Must be a nice feeling not to have to worry about a perforation to your frame, while you have your truck inspected. I will be applying Fluid film to the interior of my frame, but still not sure this will extend my frames life. With enough to worry about in life, worrying my truck will be a giant paper weight in 6 months isn't one one more thing I need.

Ryan Burns claims Toyota has long known that the frames on its Tacoma vehicles lack adequate rust corrosion protection and, despite this knowledge, failed to disclose the existence of the defect to him and other class members at the time of sale, has not issued a recall to inspect and repair the vehicles and has not offered to reimburse owners for costs incurred to identify and repair the defect.

The Toyota Tacoma Rusty Frame Class Action Lawsuit is Burns v. Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc., Case No. 2:14-cv-02208, in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.

U.S. District Judge P.K. Holmes III refused to dismiss Burns’ state law consumer protections claims, but found his breach of express and implied warranty allegations don’t hold up because the suit complaining of excessive corrosion was filed nearly nine years after Burns bought his 2005 Tacoma, which had a three year / 36,000 mile warranty.

Off topic here but id recomend eastwoods frame rust inhibitor, they have a couple different products to choose from. They come with a long flexible extension tube that you can slip into the hard to reach areas of the boxed portion. Applies right on to the rust. After that cures then keep on with your fluid film applications. It'll be a lil more effective than just fluid film.

Could be the Op has ties to the Lawyer ($$$$) the more people the more $$$ in the Liars err Lawyers pockets

    Just think I could bill Customers 15 minutes @ $120.00 /hour for a 2 minute phone call.

I said we should have had a bounty on Lawyers way back in the seventies . Now we are really over run!!
