    Why? I just took the base off mine (because I upgraded it to a beefier/wider one) and it fits perfectly. I keep the plate in the cab, and even the yellow part on top of the lift.

    I already checked connections, checked fuses and ran new wiring.

    I think it's fried.

    Honestly, the reason that I cut it was not entirely because of my OCD........I just didn't feel like bending metal brackets, that day.
