Getting ready for a long ass roadtrip this summer, about 3 weeks worth. Part of me wants to tote a regular ice chest around, other part of me wants to possibly look at the plug in electric ones.

Whatcha all use? Any reason to use an electric?

Took me almost a year to pull the trigger on this purchase. Shop around online and you can save about $300 on this rifle. But I had to order it because nobody had the lefty in stock anyway. Got mine thru Guns America for $865 delivered. There are several variations, get one you prefer.

Yeah i looked into making my own setup and with all the parts and getting the tank hydrotested it ended up being nearly the same price. I got in on a group buy through them too which brought the price even closer

I set up notifications on CL for an aluminum CO2 tank and got the 20lb for 80$ full

    150psi static Regulator - 40$ @ Sierra Expedition

20ft custom hose, 45° fitting, quick release, chuck and ends - 70$ @ Parker hydraulic hoses in Tempe

I probably couldve saved a bit more and bought a polyurethane coiled hose like protank, IAS and outback air use but I wanted something that will get around the whole truck when I mount the tank in the bed. I also have found those coiled hoses to be finicky to use.

So yea, 200$ and I built a badass tank that refills a tire in 16 seconds. (18-40psi)

IAS, protank, smittybuilt and outback will all charge 215-600$ for 5lb-15lb

I am saving your jam for the right food. Either homemade hot biscuits fresh out of the oven or a fresh scone, haven't decided yet.

My wife returned to town with my truck yesterday. 3 days without my truck, it was rough.

    :pccoffee: morning y'all

    Morning Jon,
Yep, a coiled air hose will get you by, but a good rubber hose is way better if you have space to store it. I use a Vair compressor with a 5 gallon tank where the spare tire once was. And I gave a leak somewhere to find and fix.

When I heard the garage door, I ran past my wife and outside to check on my truck. All while yelling, "SHE'S HOME! SHE'S HOME!"

If you squealed while saying that and proceeded to check over every inch of the truck after im sure she was pissed.

I love doing shit like that to Gaia. Last night she asked me to shave the boys head for school pics. Heres what I sent her while she was driving home.
