Recently picked up a 2013 prerunner sr5 v6 doublecab. Buying some 17x8.5 wheels with Cooper Discoverer A/T3's LT 265/70 R17 tires on them. I want up to an 3" lift and have narrowed down the choices to bilstein 5100's with either aal or block for the rear OR OME with 885's.
The only type of offroad the truck sees is some light trails with hills to take me to a few fishing spots. No 4x4 is needed.
My question is, which kit will provide me a more comfortable everyday ride, and will I need to get uca's if i go with the OME since its not adjustable like the 5100's? Not looking to have to spend extra money on things other than the lift.
    Thanks!

You'll need to look at UCA's for 3" of lift..

Spindles. Best ride quality. 265s will look small with lift. You can run those stock.

Yeah that's why I said "up to 3". So basically with the ome I would need UCA's because its non adjustable?
Would this be a good choice then since it gives me the option to go 3" or less?

What is the advantage of one over the other?
    Thanks!

My budget is $700. Don't spindles give you a 4" lift and require UCA's? I am new to this world so bare with me

You can get different coils that provide different ride heights. For example 885 without the spacer gives you 2.5" of lift, 887 gives you the full 3". 884 gives you 2" (I believe) with a double cab

When I get done burning up the factory tires I am going to go 5100 all around. Look on jet.com and use shop15 code. Front will be set to 1.75 on the stock springs and if i don't like the ride i will buy new coils. The back will be a 1 inch block but if i purchase a boat i may switch to progressive aal or get air bags.

    5100 all 4 $255 option 1 & 2

    Wheeler Coils $169 option 2

Block $60 option 1 & 2 putting on both options but maybe i can sell them if i move to option 2

    Progressive AAL $160 option 2

    Option 1 $315
    Option 2 $644
Labor: Got a buddy. Beer and steak dinner usually covers me. $50

It seems like the most cost effective set up would then be the billys on all 4, then AAL on the rear as I do occasionally tow a 17' flats boat. The OME does look like a sweet setup though

Do you recommend the 1.5" block kit then?
