Is there a write up and does anyone know how to remove this trim to install a new switch?
    Thanks

while I've not done it on that truck as of yet, I'm sure it pops out. Get some panel popping tools (non-metal to avoid scratches) and slip them around the perimeter and it should come out.

You have to pull the whole lower dash, it's pretty easy though. Start by pulling the door sill just enough to get the kick panel out. Lower dash has three screws along the bottom (one was concealed by the kick) that all come out. The rest of the lower dash is just held by panel clips and will all pop out pretty easily with just a little tug.

I stand corrected. Couldn't get mine to pop for the life of me.

Did you have to trim to install that switch. The one I bought is a little bigger than the switch plate that is there

My switch originally came with some kind of adapter, I separated then trimmed it.
