Hows the blisteins been? Trying to decide between fox smooth bodies and the blisteins.

Also, I see you bought IFS locking hubs. Did those bolt onto the ifs hub and work with the axle or did you have to change the bearing in it? I have a set of each but just curious if both work so I could keep one pair as a spare.

And do you have any more pictures of your front shackle mount off the frame by the body mount? Are you 31.5" center pin to center pin or 31.5 to the outside of the spring hanger?

No complaint on the bilsteins, would always recommend better shocks if money allows, due to valving.

Used IFS locking hubs since they are more common at the junkyards. However ifs locking hubs are 27 spline vs the solid axle 30 spline. However RCV axles come with the 30 spline coupler that fits into the 27 spline ifs hub or replaces the factory sa 30spline coupler.

I'll try to get more pics of the spring hanger, its 31.5" center pin to center pin.

Sounds good. Id appreciate the pictures.

So on the hubs part, you cant just bolt the ifs hub on? You need the different spline count or bearing correct? Ive read so many different things from yes to no and am not really sure. I will try it tomorrow, just wanted to see what you did.

EDIT: Looks like you didnt cut the fenders at all. To fit 37s did you just limit your up travel? How many inches of up travel do you?

Sorry for all the questions man, your build looks so good and Im trying to figure out the small details before I start the supension next week.

No worries happy to help, keeping an eye on your build.

For the locking hubs basically the solid axle hubs bolt right on since they are 30 spline. With the ifs hubs you have to convert the spline coupler inside to 30 spline. Easiest way is the coupler that usually comes with a set of aftermarket axle shafts. Or you can buy the 30 spline couplers seperate. Fwiw ifs are cheap and can buy a few for the cost of 1 set of solid axle locking hubs.

Uptravel is 4.5", fenders have been cut some, but then took a heat gun to bend the factory flares to cover where I had trimmed.

Okay that helps. Who sells the couplers?

Good to know on the uptravel. I was worried about only have 5". How much droop/down travel do you have? Have any pictures of whwre you cut the fenders and heated the flares as well?
    Thanks

This is what your looking for.
    http://www.rcvperformance.com/product-details.aspx?sku=D6769

1 for each hub, comes with a set of axles. Trail Gear longfields come with a similar coupler but would recommend against them.

Downtravel is 9.5", running 14" Bilsteins on all four corners.

Sorry no pics of heating/bending the fenders, nothing crazy only about 2" pulled back toward the firewall.

Hub gear is the technical term for the "coupler".
