Getting one ready to sell in MA and looking for one in NH.

 

You'd think so, but then you look at places like MA, RI, CT, or NY and you're like "How about NO"

 

i couldn't find anyone that would move me across state lines

 

Come on now... CT isn't all that bad. Well... maybe. Fairfield County where I live blows. Fucking taxes kill you.

 

i have to drive down to dirty jersey all the time and it's like a game trying not to hit ct at a time where i'll be in all of the major cities' rush hour

 

True. Traffic is a bitch. But that's because our highways suck and are mostly only two lanes.

 

Maine's nice too. Vermont as well, if you can get past the commies

 

Too many people. Too many gun laws. Too close to NY. Too Expensive. And those stupid two lane narrow-ass highways that everybody does 80 on are... unpleasant.

 

Definitely expensive and the highways suck. Wouldn't know about the gun laws to be honest. Never really looked into getting one. Wife won't allow it. Don't want to upset the wife. Happy wife happy life. Trying to stick to that.

 

ugh it's the worst. it took me 9 hours to get home once

 

Driving through Connecticut is by far the worst state when heading South (except for Virginia). Its one of those states that just goes on and on and on and there is NOTHING to look at from the highway.

i was on the phone with a friend of mine one time when i was driving down to nc. he asked where i was in my trip, i said "i don't know everything looks like shit, i must be in bridgeport"

 

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spot on! Bridgeport does look like shit, literally.

 

Nope it pretty much all sucks. I grew up in Southington and went to uconn. Don't really have any desire to go back besides to see family.

Never been to Southington to be honest. Been to UConn to visit some friends before though. Big party school.

 

My gf was the same way when we were first moving in together. Her parents are militantly anti-firearm and she was never around them as a kid. We were unpacking her stuff on the first night in my apartment and she was like "I'm not living with those" when she saw my deer rifle, my .22, and my shotgun (all I owned at the time). I responded with "Well then you aren't living with me"
I'm pretty easy-going, but I put my foot down on that one. And then I took her shooting that weekend, took her to a safety course, and she's been fine with them ever since then.
Which is good, because my collection has expanded considerably...
