It's not going to be. I suppose I'd just keep riding the 650 you have. But maybe you need a trail only bike instead and still ride the 650 otherwise.
    Ain't that the truth
This is pretty damn true. Granted the non-street legals can be converted but at extra cost for those parts.

All the different methods people go about making these things street legal.

I'm just going to use the stock headlight and taillight, run a hydraulic switch from the foot brake to the taillight, wire a high/low beam switch, and install a horn. That's it.

That's what I would do probably too. Probably throw in blinkers too cause I hate using hand signals and people are dumb enough as is

I've been going back and forth on whether or not to add blinkers. I use them on my CRF, but only because they're there. I catch myself using hand signals 90% of the time anyways because it seems like nobody sees my blinker anyways.

I guess I'll get a headlight/horn switch that has a blinker switch as well just in case I decide to add them later on. The front blinkers would be easy. But finding somewhere to add rear blinkers would be a bit more challenging without getting a whole new taillight/mount assembly.

Man, Idk if I could get a new wr and add shit to make it street legal when a ktm 690 enduro is only $1500 more and ready to go.

Slightly off topic but I have been reading about how to go about getting any bike plated, even ones that read "offroad use only" on the title. Seems a bit skeptic and dependant upon what state you live in you may not have this issue, but figure I'll pass the link along to anyone who is curious. Looks like people are not having any major issues.

I have a 1988 xr200r that I wheel around the house with. For all the farther I'm going I could ride it on the highway but it doesn't go any faster then 45 lol. It's a really fun bike though.
