Yes fully plated front top bottom and hopfully back. Then the transmition cross member will be rebuilt and ready for links. Just through the axle under there for shits ang giggles to see ow things looked. And they look danm good!! Its like that axle was made for the truck.

Cool, cool. I got that deadener installed on the floor today. I was happily surprised how much of a difference it made. Quite impressed. Still have 2.3 sheets left. If I can find the money for new seats I might just put the deadener under the seats.

You would actually want to do the back seats, floor, and under the front seats.

Not sure if this has already been covered, but I'm a bit curious why a D44 instead of say, a D60?

The 60 is over kill for what i want. I dont wheel with a lead foot and do not plan on going over 35s, my main wheeling buddy is going to be engine swaped, tube buggy, one tons on 37+ tires and i do not want to drag my truck through what he can. Its just not built for that. So this will be an expedition rig and down the road ill start a buggy to keep up with my buddy.

The dana 50 is a dana 60 shell with the guts of a 44 this 44 has 1/2 inch wall tubing and has better clearence and similarly as strong. So for 35s there really is no reason to.

    was just asking lol
I personally like the light weight solution to the d44 with the jana upgrade kit to get d50 parts and 35 spline in there. I wonder what they would be good for or till in tire size if nice on the skinny pedal
