@a.smo @Milota95 and any other Phone GPS app wonder-ers

I downloaded the Gaia GPS Apps Package (Gaia GPS & Offline Topo) the other day. I just uploaded a few .GPX tracks I've made based on prior trips and looking at maps with TopoFusion.

It will be interesting to start checking it out in the field this weekend, but I'm liking the background options and layout so far.

Satellite View of the Florence Junction Trails (Elvis is the longest one to the south, Axle Alley in the middle, Highway to Hell, Woodpecker, Ajax looped up north)
    Florence Junction.jpg

A section of Elvis in Topo Map
    Elvis Topo.jpg

Similar section with Shaded Relief Topo
    Elvis Shaded.jpg

    Same section in Satellite View
    Elvis Sat 1.jpg

Zoomed in most of the way on the Satellite
    Elvis Sat 2.jpg

And my current location at work to show the locator icon in Satellite and Topo

I think $30, deleted the receipt email already

The main Gaia GPS works with data and takes the uploads via email (or other online methods). The Offline Topo Maps handles the prior download of map data (select type and zoom range) for use when out of cell range.

Either will record your track for reference later or backtracking also.

I will have to look into this. I've been using Google's My Tracks, but they are discontinuing the app at the end of April. Loved the app! Been using it for about 5 or so years.

Edit: google has Gaia app for $19.99

So from those that have the redline hood struts, what made you buy the set you did over the others? With the 25% off coupon I'm leaning towards the elite ones but is that wasting money over the cheaper sets?

I mean it seems all sets will allow me to hold a beer and play with my belly button while looking at my engine.

@a.smo You looking to build that bussman relay block? I looked into ordering all of those terminals, plugs, etc. today and the minimum quantity for half of that stuff is 100, which is way more than we would need. If you decide you want to (and I decide the same), we could split an order of the parts so we aren't paying an assload of money to have an excessive surplus of everything. Just a thought!

Do it! The LCE ones are the exact same I believe, but 10 bucks cheaper and come with a gasket and new bushing.
