For those of you who bought your truck brand new was there a way to have the dealership give you a credit for your tires that came from the factory and put tires that you actually want on? Then include the new tire price in the price of the vehicle but obviously be cheaper because they gave you cash for the tires it came with?

My dealer offered me $25 each. Sell them on Craigslist.

Damn I would rather drive them for a while for that price

Most dealers won't give you much if anything at all. They're not in the tire business, new or used. There are some dealerships that will cut you a deal, but few and far between. Sell them privately to get the most bang for your buck. I sold mine with 200 miles on them for $300. I could've brought in more, but I wanted to unload them quick and quick they went.

Dealerships will install new tires for you but they are going to make money on the deal.

You're lucky you aren't buying a TSS edition. They make you pay extra for the wheels and tires and they keep the stock wheels and tires for themselves

My dealership would not do that deal. They said it has to leave in factory condition.

wow, that is strange. Most dealerships would be glad to take your money. Just go to America's tire straight from the dealership and get some KO2s or something you want. They will give you a good price for your brand new tires

I was able to get 5 Duratracs mounted and balanced in our negotiations but I was also willing to walk out a couple times.

My dealer offered $100 for all 4 takeoff tires. I found a local shop that gave me $100/ea (CAD) on trade.
