Total bummer...had my '16 TRDOR DC taco towed to the dealership yesterday :( Only 6700 miles on it and I broke down on the highway. Trac light was flashing and engine light came on at about 70mph. Started to lose power and had to pull over. Had it in 4x4 earlier in the day due to the snow in Boston. Wondering if that caused any issue. Haven't even used crawl control yet! Thought these tacos were bullet proof so I'm pretty disappointed.

Called to check in today and they have been running tests all day with no update for me. Can't figure out the problem. On top of that...I'm Still struggling w the windshield whistle too which I already had "fixed". Truck whistles through driver side window/windshield almost constantly at 75+ mph. tough issues to swallow for a $40k truck

Anyone else having issues with engine or trans this bad?

TacomaModaholic! Thats what you turn into. Once you make that first mod, you can't stop! No known cure. Only thing that helps is a low interest credit card. Takes the edge off a bit!

Sad news indeed, not sure if your State laws but here you take it in 3 times for same problem and then go for lemon law. Get something satisfying in wrighting each and every time you take it in,even for none problems.
Your in the Right, paying a premium price for a premium Quality ride. Good luck my Friend:(
