Tempting...can't commit just yet. Been driving my truck long distance this couple Of months and I'm due for oil change. I just change my oil end of January and I hit 5k already

Did you lose any paint on that spot? I did Oh well hahaha. Although thanks for reminding me to protect that from rust, although the rest of my truck is going down the path of rust already... possibly

 

Yes paint is gone from all the area's.Plan is to mask off/tape off all the area's sand,primer,paint and clear.Rattle can will do.

 

I can't even imagine the idea of attempting to buff out all my pin stripes haha

Don't fix it and we'll forever be twinning haha. I probably won't repaint the area to color match it, but I probably will give it a protective coating

 

Thanks Danny i will let you know!I plan on doing everything by hand 1st then going from there.I used to have a side job doing professional detailing so i have experience using a buffer.

 

What are some good Offroad/ fab/ work shops around here?
SVC Offroad, Full-Tilt Offroad, and Rebel Offroad are closer at to me.
Any others with good work and pricing that I should look into?

Yes it was excellent.Did it for over 2yrs.Bought everything brand new(trailer,water tank,generator etc.).It was my full time job during that time and set up a lot of clients.When i became detail manager at Lexus i still did detailing on the weekends but decided to sell the equipment that i already payed off for a profit.When i was detail manager at Lexus i didn't have to do detailing labor,just run the department.It was fun having my own business!You gotta hustle though if you want to succeed and set your own schedule!I never worked weekends as well unless i chose too.

 

There's so many people in that business now a days, it's insane

 

Yes there sure is!I developed a complete business plan and established actuall businesses that made it successfull!I wasn't driving around everyday just trying to pick up work!When it rained on day's where i had appointments i would have to obviously reschedule but during that time i would drive around to specific area's that i was trying to develop more clientele.I was always plugging away!You can definitely be successful doing it but you got to hustle to make it work!

Always would like to start up a side business in the automotive world, detailing was always one of those ideas that occurred. Also helped operate a car meet with an auto detailer a few times a while back

Also ya a good buff and wax can do quite a good job; was one of the first things when I first got the truck. Although with all the scratches I have now it's debatable how many would go out
