    citrus cleaner will dissolve it
    this stuff works well
    http://www.amazon.com/Stoner-94213-Citrus-Cleaner-Remover/dp/B0002KKIU0
probably able to use the gallon concentrate of citrus cleaner at home depot
    http://www.homedepot.com/p/ZEP-128-oz-Heavy-Duty-Citrus-Degreaser-ZUCIT128/100676344

just make sure you keep washing it off the paint or wiping off the paint. it will dissolve off the emblem and get on the paint i mean not a big deal just spray the cleaner on that and hose it off as it melts

another way just spray the emblems again with a few more coats then just peel it off

Just spray more on. That will either cover/fix whatever you did, or it will make it easier to peel. The thicker the better, after the first couple of coats.

I have used the rustoluem bright orange before. I prefer the real Plasti-Dip, it gives a better finish IMO

Probably a dumb question, but how much gloss does the combo of matte black with a coat of glossifier add? I'm trying to keep it as matte looking as possible. It sounds like a coat of the gloss protects it a little better. Would it be better to just use matte clear? Anyone have a pic of matte black with glossifier? Thanks.

Here is matte with 2 coats of glossifier. I did it once with just the matte and in the sun it didn't look right to me. With the glossifier it definitely gave it a similar shine to the black plastic on the front. Hope this helps

Thanks leuduc. Looks great, gonna stick with glossifier rather than clear matte.

Too much chrome up front but I don't think I want all black either. I saw someone leave the bars and emblems chromed. That looked good but I thought I might like the opposite. Just the mesh part left chrome. I did a quick pixlr job...I'm no graphic design artist I just wanted to try out some ideas and thought I would share.

This is exactly what I was planning on doing before I bought my truck. But now that I have the truck in real life, I actually think the chrome looks good (on a black truck at least). I do have some extra plasti-dip and glossifier laying around so I might give it a shot and peel it off if I don't like it. It seems like a challenging process though because there are no "hard-lines" for the plasti-dip to get a clean line. The lines need to be made with tape and probably won't look as nice. I'll post results on this thread after I give it a go

Love the top pic! That's what I want to do! Worried about the edge that will be left where the derped part meets the left alone.

Do most of you that have dipped the grille take it off to do so? I've seen videos where they put cardboard behind it to protect the radiator.
