    looking to buy a peformance chip so far all i found was the unichip and the mapecu2 from urd and ttc sells them aswell? any one have one? If so wut u got out of them

    FWIW, other "chips" are just resistors that "trick" your ECU into thinking its gettting cooler air than it really is. The URD MAF calibrator is the only real tunning system for our trucks. :)

    With the right software, you can see all the needed info on the laptop. You really dont need a db guage. Thats only for exhausts. :)

    The BD guage is to see your AF Ratio reading for the necessary adjustments to the MAF calibrator. How you going to know if your running to lean or to rich with no DB guage?

    I thought you were talking about "db" as in Decible, I.E. sound pressure....LOL.., yes, the you do need to know the AFR, and most Dyno shops monitor that when you do a run. :)

    well i got an volant intake and going to get dtlt headers, i got the afr gauge thanks to one of my friend and now i need the chip, by the looks of it u all have good review on the URD, which one r u exacly talking about cause theres like 5 of them, just need it to run the setup i have now and then for more upgrades like for the trd blower.

    TRD CAI, TRD SS, Toyota All Weather Mats, Eagle Eye Halos, NST Crankshaft Pulley, ScanGauge II, TRD Shiftball, TRD SeatCovers, WeatherTech Vent Visors, 20% tint, DTLT's and NST pulley combo.
    I know its an old thread but from what Ive gathered so far it adds at least 10+hp depending on what you have and the custom tune for it. Also depends on the elements(weather). I dont think it helps MPG. Theres no distinct answer that I can find. Theres a dyno sheet on the URD site on a stock 1GR-FE but you cant tell what it says. (It wouldnt matter anyway cause I dont know how to read em)
