Better to ask what I have not done.
AFTER CALLING 5 DISTRIBUTORS THEY ANSWER WAS THE SAME FOR ALL OF THEM, THEY CAN NOT SELL THESE FOR ANY LOWER THEN MARKED PRICE DO TO HOW CLOSE WHOLE SALE IS TO THEM. YOUR CHEAPEST OPTION FOR BOTH OPTIONS IS TO GO THROUGH AMAZON, AS THEY HAVE HAD THE BEST PRICING ON THESE THAT I CAN FIND.

SORRY GUYS AS I WANTED ONE OF THESE THINGS FOR CHEAP TOO!

Hey guys im trying to see if any one else would be wanting a dewalt 20v 1/2 impact.

    • They are a 1/2 inch drive
    • The impact has up to 1200 ft/lbs to remove bolts and up to 700 ft/lbs to install. So you dont have to sit there waiting for the lug nut to stop spinning when installing......
    • The drill has 3 speed settinngs to help with the slower people so as to not over tighten things down. The drill also comes with a light on the handle so you can see what you are doing.
We can get just the base drill
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00WJA1J68/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?qid=1457359873&sr=8-6&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=dewalt+1/2+in+impact&dpPl=1&dpID=519o5Ogg9rL&ref=plSrch

Or the Impact kit that has the impact, carry bag, one 5ah battery with charge check, and charger
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00WJA1LIY/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?qid=1457360014&sr=8-11&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=dewalt+1/2+in+impact

I do not have any final discounts yet as i am just trying to find out if there is any interest in them. I know that i love my old one and it has done very very well all the time and has yet to have an issue with a bolt, and has great run time.

I've done a mod or two
I could probably do with another impact, mine is decent but this would be nice to have too. I'd be down for a bare tool or a whole kit. Really doesn't matter as I could use more of this type of battery or just use the ones I have (same style).

FYI - For future reference, when it comes to premium brand power tools (Bosch, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, etc) margins are extremely narrow, like in the 5 to 8% range. I seriously doubt you'll ever be able to pull off a decent GB with any of those brands. I managed a lumberyard briefly a few years back and bought tools through a massive co-op. The only time the manufacturers ever would discount further is when a retailer switched primary brand, then you'd see a 15-18% margin only on the initial stocking buy. The real power tool money is in accessories (blades, bits, etc) where the margin is often in the 50-60% range. Selling this stuff means you really have to whore yourself on tools to make a killing on everything else. The little town I live in now has an annual 20% off everything in the store sale, I buy the living fuck out of the power tool section until my wallet begs for mercy every year...

I've got this brushless high torque impact, absolutely amazing for working on truck (disassembly).
Throws so much torque I highly warn against using it to tighten anything. Havent found a bolt it wont take off yet.... Even one or 2 my Mac air impact wasnt thrilled about. Very impressive for battery power

Thats the one. I love it!! I thought that the old one was awesome for what ut was and that very now and then i would have to take the braker bar to some of the hard bolts but not with this impact. I have yet to have a bolt that gave this impact a fuss at all. Really a great impact!!
