I am thinking an early fall run to moab might be appropriate. After the heat of summer.

Why that particular radio (other than Mr Tim recomended it). Price? Availabliity? Functionality? Ease of install?

Is it APRS or DPRS?

 

That would work for me. Plenty of time to sort things out still and the weather should be perfect. Keep me in the loop.

 

Ill help u drill it. By that i mean i will watch so that when my time comes i will have seen it done.

 

It's aprs. Dprs is only on icom radios that use dstar network.

I work the Montana gig June-July. August-sept is weed spraying.

 

It wouldn't be before July for me. August is the earliest time I can get away for more that weekends. Are you willing to take two weeks away from your weed spraying gig?

 

No probably not. Couldn't say at this time anyways. It's possible the season would end early sept. But I will need the $1000+ bucks I make from 2 weeks for moving again.

 

I've been thinking about two adventures actually. I have the vac time if the truck will hold together.
