    Get a Dutch Shepherd. It's a cousin of the Malinois that has an "Off" switch. Will work like a Mal but much easier to live with in most cases.

    That's awesome. They are definitely the biggest yet gentle dogs I've ever been around. The only thing I'm worried about is their life expectancy although I would give him/her the best care I could afford. We have an American Basset Hound now so if it isn't a Dane, it'll be a European Basset.

    She lived to be I think 11 or 12 the vet said she was the oldest one he had taken care of but we had to put her down because the was having seizures we thought she was just running in her sleep . So the vet said if we didn't put her down now she'd suffer and pass away from stress on her heart. But I have a bunch a great memories with her between chasing her goofy ass down the block trying to catch her as she dips and dodges you or coming home trying to get a spot on the bed(full size) because she would take the hole thing up and refuse to move

    My neighbor had one that looked just like Scooby, and that was his name. He was a little over 12 years old when he had to put him down. Sad day in the neighborhood. His stomach turned over twice and they said he couldn't make it through surgery to fix it. He was a damn good dog.

    Yeah that was one thing she would eat and we wouldn't be able to go by her to prevent that because she would always be going nuts lol

    I dont think I've posted here in a while.

    Black is Chloe, brown is Billy. Billy was my foster pup which was immediately claimed by my parents. He was their Christmas present three years ago. Starved and abandoned as a pup, now fat and sassy. Chloe just got back from staying in FL with my parents and Billy for a month while I moved and commuted 220+ miles a day for a couple weeks.
