I thought it was a plus to know a little, or a lot, about a lot of different things. People (employers) just don't value that I think. Which is bad... real bad.

Holy shit. WOW. Dang man. I don't even know what to say to all of that. If all of that had happened to me I probably would have off'ed myself by now. Kudos on being strong through all of that, which to me it clearly seems that you have been and are.

Nope, I got that. But just the fact that you've been around that stuff and people that have used, are using, and got into all sorts of trouble because of it, especially the situation with your sister, I give you credit for staying strong and dealing with life as a whole. Maybe what I said or am trying to say isn't making much sense. Sorry.

Basically I give you credit for dealing with it all.

 

Or in myy case someone to bust ass and do work 1-2 grades above me..yet 6 times ivve applied for developmental stuff and got refused. especially nice when those chosen don't do shit.

Basically I work hard to carry lazy fucks who then get opportunities thrown in their lap that I earn.

 

Makes perfect sense to me, though my angleis the one of addiction.

Good of a job as I have, nepotism runs rampant here. I laughed a few yrs ago whhen HR told me they picked someone less qualified for that because I had long hair and earrings. I told the rep I see people much higher than me with piercings (not ears) and visible tats, and if my appearance is the issue then wouldn't such programs help me work on that?

Yeah but they have to get friends, family, and butt boys in first of course. Perhaps too they don't want my 135pct of expectation and 100pct quality from last year to not be ass in the chair all day
