From 0k to 25k I kept the truck completely stock. During that time I was introduced to Taçomaworld by @YumaTRD and I started learning about mods and going to meets like the TW superstition tripimage.jpg image.jpg

So main reasons for getting the 4cyl over 6 cyl....
    Bullet proof
    Adequate power for most tasks
Cheaper brand new=more money for mods
    Marginally better gas mileage
Great stock 4.10 gearing married to M 5speed/access cab
Only regret for not getting 6 cyl...
Not being able to rocket Really big hills
    No E locker.
But I think the benefits of my 4 banger so far have outweighed those cons

    Main reasons for access cab....
I don't generally drive with five people regularly
    Bed is longer for stuff
Weight is less than double cab
Can still seat/stuff four people when needed

2nd order of business after I put my kings on they were amazing. They let me do things at speed I didn't think I could do in my truck. However there was much more to be desired from my leaf pack and bumps. The bumpstops were harsh and I was always getting axle wrap in loose terrain.

So I looked into cheapest way of solving this problem and I decided on the Icon progressive 3 leaf and wheelers superbumps x 4.

They were more difficult to put on then I thought @YumaTRD helped me out big time. They installed the AAL and bumps x 4 before I could ever figure out which end of the wrench to hold or which way was lefty loosely righty righty. I let them take custody of my man card promptly. They did impressive work. I just rolled in some dirt and grease to make it look I was trying to do something while he did all the work.

We tested them out that weekend at picacho CA many trails and washes. No more harsh bottoming and the best thing no more axle wrapping in the soft stuff.

Interesting not sure what that means but I'm fore sure jelly of both of your toy beast pick up rigs. There both are as unique as them come. Mine is still base model 4 cyl cookie cutter mold 4x4 build like most 4 cyl 2nd gens.

Next order of business I wanted some AUX lighting like what I saw everyone else have on there trucks. Then I got an early Christmas gift from my girlfriend a 32 inch Chinese light bar and decided to mount it in the lower variance and @YumaTRD showed me the proper wiring method to blue sea fuse box and switch to left side console. Mainly I find electricity and vehicle electronics/lights to be a complete f@(king mystery to me and voodoo.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg @YumaTRD and his cousin put that blue sea fuse box and Chinese light bar in no time with L brackets to the fender well for the blue sea fuse box and self tapering screws for the light bar in the aluminum in the lower variance. I was very satisfied not a rigid. but still very bright and useable and has stood up the abuse I've put it thru.

The next mod I did after I did some easy trails in sedona. I never touched my ifs skid (glorified dust guard). But I hit LCAs abt ten time due to being the lowest part of the vehicle. So I got some armortech LCA skids for less than $100 at 16 lbs a piece I think beefyimage.jpg image.jpg . How ever I had to ghetto cut the stock ifs skid leaving lots of sharp edges for organic material I run over. Just to fit them without rubbing . But so far they have worked great.

I then realized that a lot of clearance issues had to do with my little 245/75/16 donuts for tires. So I explored a couple of size options and settled on 265/75/16 so much better in all aspects ofimage.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg performance.
