Scored a nice complete 2013 steering wheel minus the airbag to go in my 08. Love the hand hold spots and the bigger around feel. Already scored the right airbag for good price. From what I've found, my 08 clockspring should work with it. The 2013 wheel already has the cc stalk so I don't think I will need to move that over. The only other thing I will replace are the "ornaments" aka controls. I will not be running fon or audio controls from the wheel so I will score the base model black ornaments for it. Anyone needing the silver control panels with the square switches stay tuned for some FS items.

 

Right know I can't kneel down or lay down on the ground, everything has to be waist high or higher or I can't do it. If I was to lay or kneel down it hurts but it really hurts even worse trying to get back up. I bought a front recovery bar from mobtown offroad for my Christmas present to me and I its been in my storage building since January just waiting to be installed. I still try to do what I can just at a much slower pace these days. Its a good thing my dealer gave me free oil changes for life.

 

Sucks to hear that man. Seriously. Hope all of that, or at least most of it, goes away and you're able to get back to normal life!

 

So I guess 59 days in nothing to worry about.

 

Bought a Magnetic Grey Metallic grill for the truck today from a fellow forum member. Can't wait to get rid of the chrome grill surround!

How is it weight wise, compared to the OEM mat?

 

why you chose 255 instead of 285 or 275 I'm just asking I want some rims and tires after I lift my truck but idk what to choose

 

Only 33's I found in the 16" wheel size are 255 or 285. I didn't want to do CMC so I went 255.

 

Having the darndest time deciding which look I like better. I used to love the tall and skinny look but now contemplating the 285. How you liking tall and skinny?

 

This exactly!! No cutting, chopping, bending blah blah blah. Just put em on and have fun. Worked perfect on my truck.

 

I liked the 265 look I had before. I think wide always looks better on trucks. But I'm getting 33's for function. Everything I've read says tall skinny is better on hard surfaces and wide is better on soft (sand, mud).

I don't want to cut structure. So I went 255. Plus with the MPG and power losses with bigger tires the 255 have 'slightly' less impact than 285s.

I love how my truck looks though!

Edit: Also the wider the tire is the wider the rim should ideally be as well.
