I finally got the title to the HOUSE and Con is getting an upgrade on the RX.....one with 190,000 less miles than the one she drives now

 

Ohhhh no lol see I've got the subscribe and save on Amazon to these nice protectors that come monthly she has to do a ton more on her truck and me to mine, then adventures and more toys before even thinking about those. Very very careful don't jinx it lol

 

You keep "thinking " that My 1st came a year after we purchased the house and Jess was 11 months old when I purchased my 1st Peterbilt....... She rode in her car seat in "Dads Petercar Office"

 

Can confirm diff oil. I did the sniff test and finger test on both. I cleaned the area off and am going to see if it comes back in the morning.

Well I didn't have to wait until morning. I drove 5 mins to class and some drops are back on the wheel

 

Once the repair is done, make sure your differential breather is functioning correctly.

 

I'll check that too. Do I just pull it out and blow through it? I might as well relocate it while I'm down there haha.

 

That's as good a check as any. Maybe a shot of brake cleaner while it's off.

 

It's gonna be a few days till that happens haha. We are expecting 1-3 inches of snow

My son found out the "Hard way" on this...borrowed Dads Tacoma and brought it back Spot less ( hint # 1) that afternoon I smell gear oil and inquire on where his "borrow" took him.....

His "clean-up" forgot the rear axle vent;clogged with "street mud" That afternoon guess who got a lesson on R&R of a wheel seal........ with Dad watching every move....

Teaching point 101 and he was lucky I only made him pay for the seal; everything else was taken care of by Dads Shop/garage supplies

Play hard, maintain harder and these Tacomas will last forever

So I'm paranoid of having someone who doesn't typically work on Tacomas, installing my shock relocation brackets for my 12"smoothies.... What day would one of you sexy people have available to knock it out
