Lol yep, drinking a cold one at 34° from the fridge in the back :D

I do miss the simpler times though, when the Badlands was fun. Sucks driving soooo far for a few challenging trails elsewhere. Hell a good wheeling weekend for me is 1500 miles lol

Basically means you need to move closer to the trails.

Yup, that's what I'm not looking forward to with 37s and a front locker, now the badlands will be even less challenging. Then again i just like being out on the trails...

Stay on 35s, we talked about this alot a Windrock. If you remove the challenge then the fun kinda goes with it. Hopefully a SAS and 35s locked Fr&Rr will still leave enough challenge.

Quick question for you guys running toyota axles. There's a c-clip that goes on the end of the axle shaft after the locking hub body is put on. I can't get the clip back on the longer axle shaft. I've tried putting a bolt in the end and pulling it but it won't move. The other side did just fine. The axle locks and unlocks and the shafts spin just can't get the one clip on. Any suggestions?

I already have the 37s. I'm not too worried, my trucks going to be low and long so the 37s should compensate for that and keep the challenge there.

Plus they are SSRs so its not like they will actually give me any advantage LOL!!

URE is going to be a whole different place when I get linked. I'm going to do hot laps around rocky mountain loop!

Just think of the buggy you could have for that.... :luvya:

The solid axle ones. I know the ifs ones won't work because of the different spline count

Is your housing bent? Search pirate4x4 (you can search using google to search the site), this place is terrible for early toyota axle tech outside of how to paint it or attach an LED light bar to it.

There's a bunch of reasons why it could possibly not lining up, and your going to have to start eliminating reasons.

Can you see the snap ring groove at all?

I can see the groove. It looks like it has enough room. After messing with it some more, I have 2 different snap rings. They both pop on fine with no lockout on but I still can't get the shaft to move in or out. Really don't want to take it apart. But may have to.

these were preliminary numbers before I started building. I'd have to crawl under the truck to pull the actual measurements and enter them back in here. They are for sure different.

Also, I am running 12" Radflo Coilovers

    Who runs snap rings anyway?

I honestly can't remember if I have those on my birfs or not. I want to say no but I've slept since I've had it apart

What the heck is the last word? Stock shafts here so I guess I'll take the spindle off and see if something is binding up
