I know this was a thought. What times? How long?

 

I thought it would be interesting to start Goose Lake and work our way north. Maybe do Indenpendence Pass then on up to Canada, going thru Glacier. In CA, I've seen a lot of interesting stuff in the southern canadian rockies, i.e., Banff & Jasper National Parks that would be interesting to explore. From there would depend on time. This should be an August trip.

In October, the high Utah desert would be fun. I, like my friend Ben, am pinning for places like White Rim and surrounding areas. The actual agenda would depend on who all is in attendance. All I know is I miss it.

If you guys are doing goose, and can plan it on a weekend, then I could probably join for that one trail. Assuming it isn't during surveys.

 

Guessing two weeks for Canada. One fore moab? Or the other way around?

We would be interested in doing Goose lake with you guys if we had some notice. I'd also go back to Moab anytime.

 

I'll be doing that no matter what at some point in August or September over a weekend. I'm sure the wyo crew can do that at least.

 

I am serious. I wont be taking leave this summer so one weekend is fine. Specially august since there isn't much to do then. September won't happen but that's cause Ill be elk hunting again.

In august all the tadpoles are released and the ones we keep are little toads that can survive a few days on their own. Up until august I will have to work weekends.

 

Our longer adventures usually start on a monday or a sunday evening because there is significant travel time to the starting destination. But for the one I was talking about, too soon to say for sure what day it will start.

2 weeks for CA = most likely. Moab = not sure really. Will depend on many factors, agenda being one.

 

Just keep me updated. My boss is pretty cool and if its a week or two notice he would probably be ok with it. I might end up there by myself if I can't tag along with you guys.

 

Anyone in need of a winch? @Speedytech7 Zane, are you looking for something for that bumper?
