That does look cool. I cant go with that as the kids will trash the lighter color and for that matter I will get it dirty over time as well. But I like that look. My samples came in today and for sure the dark gray matches the existing seat covers extremely well. These are by far the smallest samples for anything I have ever seen in my life... they are smaller than postage stamps... about half the size... but I suppose they do the job. The black also would work, but I agree with the previous post that it would make the truck look like a cave with all the other dark. To me the best way to match what is there is dark grey on the sides and insert. To keep the seat from getting too hot (we have had black seats before... no thanks... the burns just are not worth it) we are going with dark grey. The only thing I am unsure about is if the perforated will let spilled coffee right into the factory seat... cant really find much on that from their web site... I will likely call them.

Has anyone with the covers spilled coffee or soda on them? Will the liquid seep through the perforated leather onto the factory seat?

Another poster said they had an antibacterial treatment and yes, were protected from spills... However, I looked for both those claims and I personally did not see them on the web site... hoping I likely missed it as I didnt spent lots of time looking. Hopefully the above post is accurate.
I know darn well at some point I will spill coffee on these and my kids in the back are going to spill lots of things on them.

Oh, so you need a separate 'thing' to get the waterproofing. The OP definitely did not state that. So I got the samples and the perforated ones do not have any 'backing'... which makes sense from the post above. Now the trick is to see how to find them on their web site. ANyone know how to spec insert kit when ordering these?

Shouldn't be anything to add. The insert is the part you sit on and is either perforated leather, PVC, Suede or Quilted depending on what you ordered. They probably don't include the additional layer with the leather samples but should be in the covers themselves.

My Clazzio perforated leathers do have protection built in. If not I would have put something under it.

The perforations is what initially kept me from buying those seats Yeah they look better than my CoverKing Leatherettes but the CoverKings are completely waterproof. No perfs. No "leather" to worry about cracking. Two Tone couple hundred less with coupons. They break in fine. $414 front and back Two tone. Clazzios Look better, but I really am the only one who sees the inside of my truck except for the wife and she doesn't care what I do to my vehicles.

I emailed clazzio regarding my question about liquid going through the perforated leather.

    Clazzio response:

"We've spilled things and it's never gone through. The 1/2 inch of memory foam has a moisture barrier. The leather is perforated just like standard seats are and do very well with spills. It also helps to wipe it up quickly."

Went with gray. They came in yesterday and I went home today and put them on during lunch. Took a little less than an hour. I'll try to get better picks later.

These look great. Ive been on the fence about changing my order (I ordered black) to the all-grey set. Still undecided which route I want to go.

I've had both black and grey leather seats I've found the grey to be a touch cooler and a little easier to keep looking clean. Those two factors are why I personally went with grey.

I have black. They look great but now second guessing gray. I agree they will be cooler-minor issue-but the black shows every speck of dust. Gray will be easier to keep clean.

    Gray looks great.
Black looks sexy (if you can keep it clean!)

Is yours the regular grey or the dark grey? Hard to tell from their website.

I'm hoping to see more pictures posted in here! Its between these, and true new seat upholstery through leatherseats.com (hope its ok to post a link?) With the latter, they have much more customizing colors and options, and replace the factory seat covers. The only issue is they are much more expensive.
