Leaving anything of value unattended on trail in Uwharrie is begging to get stolen or trashed or both. 500ft is far enough away it would get torched. Been 10yrs since I've been to Uwharrie, I don't imagine it's improved much as far as "clientele"

I've never had a problem leaving anything there nor heard of anyone having any. Not saying it doesn't or couldn't happen but there's been 4x6 trailers and atv trucks trailers left all over with no issues

Trailers stolen, atvs on trailers, broken vehicles torched or parted on trail (axles included), unattended vehicles shot up.
Had our coolers raided of all the alcohol and what they thought was "good" beer (took the Miller Lite left the Rolling Rock and Guinness) and took a bottle of Beam from Arrowhead campground. Assholes took the brats too, didn't find the steak. If it were rangers they would have come back and ticketed us for the booze.

Yeah I had the smaller pulley and upgraded fuel pump installed. But to be honest I question if it was done correctly

Put a TruTrac in the back of that and it'll go places you've never imagined, no pushing buttons, no bucking, you'll hardly notice it until you need it. I'd suggest a Lock right or similar but that will make the ABS go nuts on road. ARB would work but WAY more expensive buy in

The part itself is in the $550 neighborhood, add side bearings and races (old can be reused if carefully removed) $50 more, labor, that's all dependant on where it's done. The favorite place is ECGS, and they do a fine job, their website will give you a ball park idea there are others than can do it as well.
I've done several gear changes, lock rights, detroits, high pinion e-locker, govloc(GM POS) it's not hard in a Toyota axle, can be time consuming.
