Getting "network unavailable" on both a good 4g connection and wifi.

myentune.com is down. Daughter really wanted to crank her female metal core Pandora channel while waiting for the school bus. Thanks a lot Toyota! Confirmed with their support line. No ETA on service restoration.

You can't use any of the online features without authenticating to entune which uses services on myentune.com mainly authentication. That is what was down until sometime later this morning. So if any of the services on myentune.com go down most of the head unit is bricked. You can still use offline capable features (Radio/cds) but anything that requires the app to function will be useless. They had no idea it was down. Called their support number and that actually set off the alarm that something was fcked. Sad. There is no reason this thing should ever ask for my authentication except for initial registration.

That's a bit of an exaggeration don't you think? If entune goes down. I don't get my pandora, or iheartradio.

Everything else works, XM, FM, CD, USB, BT Audio, NAV..

thats the dumbest security measure I have ever heard of. Shouldn't matter about hardware to your phone, security should be minimal and limited to industry standard bt encryption protocols.

Navigation is limited to previous destinations. If it uses your phone it's dead if the site goes down

Not mine :) The premium/tech has built-in GPS that does not use/depend on your phone.

Map works. Search and address lookup does not. I have the tech package too. Turn off your phone and click navigation app c
im a dumbass . Half it was grayed out/disabled because I was sitting stopped in traffic and it thought I was moving . Just the stupid apps are dead. Can always stream over blue tooth. Still stupid To tie it all to their website for connectivity

exactly. Not much missing if entune goes down. Certainly not a 'bricked' head unit.
