    well..............now im pissed like a mofo!!!!!!

basically.....im friggin done with harrelson toyota!!! the salesman never returned my call today, so i stopped by to see about the "supposed" truck he was talking about. first...he tells me he doesnt know where the truck is, so he isnt too sure he is gonna have it at all........then after looking on the dealer websites....he looks at me and says "sorry man........i just cant find one anywhere......what about an 09???" i went ahead and walked away...........that dude is fulla shit!!! anyway, gonna go look at the 04 4x4 that i saw online at toyota of concord......hopefully it'll still be there.

so, for now........just call me pissed, but i dont like being lied to about shit.

143k miles on an 04 4x4 is pretty high right?? the specific vehicle is here.......

    http://toyotaofconcord.com/Preowned-Inventory.aspx?InventoryId=24753736

Reminds me of when I tried to buy a Honda Civic.

Try #1: I email a dealer about a '04 Civic. I get a response saying its still avialable and to come look at it. About three hours later I go into the dealer and am told it was sold the day before.

Try #2 (about two days later): I get an email from the manager saying they still have said Civic. I go in and am told that they sent it to Auction the day before. They MANAGER who emailed me that same day refused to speak with me. I say to hell with it and give up on the damn honda.

Three days later the same idiot emails me saying the Honda is still there and asks when I would like to come buy it.

This same dealer has had 38 Complaints against it with the BBB in the last three years.

They also like to run adds for Jeep Wranglers that they never have. And this same for these same Jeeps runs every summer.

yeah....i was thinking that was pretty high. the other 4x4 they have there, with 55k miles on it isnt a trd, or it isnt listed as one anyway.

    plus its 4wd trd

and the wood trim is neat

and while im no shamecock fan...the color aint bad either ;)

it also has the color matched front bumper and flares...which actually now that i look at it...id want a car fax and see if its been involved in any rear end collisions...the rear bumper shouldnt be chrome with those other things being color matched

further observations...this is a strange truck...the mirrors and grille are also chrome...

yet the front bumper and flares are color matched...i was under the impression color matching included all said parts

it does indeed seem like a good truck and i'd actually suggest will look into it...pricing seems VERY fair if it hasnt been wrecked...especially with that low mileage and all the options

VA aint that far to drive for a good truck ;)

I wouldnt have a locker installed at the dealer ship if it was only $5.00. Find a good tranny/off road shop to have it installed. Generally, installs run about $250.00 to $300.00 per axel. :)
