to add to this, At a Uwharrie work day one weekend, we were using a tree to help stabilize a vehicle we were using to haul supplies to job site, left the tree saver strap and shackles to go reload, gone 10 min, strap and shackles gone. between 2 work crews on trail. never again.

That if somebody gives me a ride out there friday or Saturday, I'll just have my buddy meet us at ure. Essentially. Unless he gets here Friday. I'll know as we get closer, but for now I'm just saying I'll be there one way or another lol

How's this look for winch switches? Out of the way so they don't get bumped is my goal.

This was my original idea but I don't like it. The keys are in the way.

I mounted mine on the underside of my 3/16" plate that's houses the blue sea box beside the brake cylinder. Just 2 bolts to loosen and flip it over for access, which wouldn't be very often. It's worked for me thus far.

Got any pictures. My plate is really thin and I think it wouldn't hold the extra weight. I've basically decided to put it down on the flat in front of the battery.

In the pic the box is back toward the grommet of the driver side, basically beside the brake cylinder. On top is my breaker and fuse panel.

Ok Yea gotcha. We'll see how it fairs down in front of the battery and if I don't like that I'll have to get a thicker plate. I've got room to make the plate bigger too if I need to.

The breaker will be the big disconnect. I can cut a cable or quickly ubolt it if need be.

if you've got some ground clearance, you'll likely be ok, if you have plumbing underneath or a long over hang, you're gonna drag, and your stabilizers will suffer first.
my junk sits about 18"-20" off the ground, and I have plumbing below that. not to mention it's heavy as hell for a pop-up, no go for me.
