Mileage check

Alright time to share how many sweet sweet miles (or kilometers) on your new Taco. @fmac112 shared unfortunate news about suffering mechanical failure as early as 6700 miles. So I'm curious to see who has seen the most asphalt underneath them and if any problems arose.

I got mine one month ago today and I have just under 2k miles.

 

Clocking in at 7,500 here. Got it in December. Nothing major yet, but I will get my Trans fluid checked at my 10k plus first oil change. It hesitates going into drive every time it's cold. As in cold start, not just temperature cold.

Got a list about 10 items long. But not much mechanical really.

 

How long have you had it?

 

9500 & change since Oct. I'll have it into the dealer for the 10k in a week or so. Only issue I have is the rear dome light switch seems like it's broken, won't turn off easy. Petty $#!+

 

That's pretty good. And you live in CO. So it's safe to assume you aren't just mall crawling.

Holy crap. You must have one hell of a commute. Or maybe bad ass road trips?

 

had to pick it up in Montana. drove it to the west cost WA. played on the beach then back to the east side of WA. been to Idaho a few times and of course the 150 mile round trip commute to work. and don't forget the chance to play while on the fishing trips on the weekends.

 

Wow, you probably did more in half a year than I've done in two. It's time for a road trip!

mine does the same thing , put it in drive and takes a bit

 

I just rolled 26,000 miles on mine. I drive it off road nearly everyday (ranch and farm work), and I used it to pull feeders to the pastures this winter. Only issue is a weird noise front driver front side when my rear tires slip in mud. It makes the noise in 2wd and 4wd. Sounds like a loud scratching/grinding.

 

I've had a history with transmissions; Ford (twice), Chevy, Nissan, and Acura. As long as it's not slamming into gear I'm good with a little quirk like that. Although mine hasn't done it yet.
