My 3RZ cyl head is cracked. It's never been overheated. Maybe the fuel injector(s) are clogged some and the cylinder(s) are leaning out causing things to heat up? In this scenario, would the ECU and/or check engine light show a code?

    Thanks,
    Kurt

    Okay.

Is there a DIY way to check the fuel injectors? I'd like to check them "just in case".

    Thanks,
    Kurt

You can pull them out and get them flow tested. How many miles are on the motor? Given the additives in fuel, I have never seen injectors get fouled.
