Got new 33s today with new wheels. I've had the 32s on the truck for the last 5 years because i was too afraid to cut up my new truck. I wish I had just manned up and trimmed 5 years ago. 33s are much better.

The sliders are from rock slide engineering.

Got them installed today. Drivers side went smooth, passenger side was a bear. Had to do a little more bending of the inner fender than antipated to remove the uca bolt. Even with the bending that sucker was difficult to get out. Hindsight being 20/20 should have just cut it but at that point it was strictly principle. All in all learned quite a bit today, definitely feel my age, however it also feels good knowing you accomplished something yourself and it was done correctly (although I would not want to do this again tomorrow). Off to get an alignment in the am. Thanks to all the TW members who have offered invaluable advice on this topic.

i have a 150qt coleman, id like to sell. it was a great price but it is waaaay toooo big. a 120 will work fine will fit what i want to stuff in there. looks like it will be done this weekend, and hopefully installed next wednesday.

it makes life a lot easier fishing tournaments, because i dont have to knock all the gear down to put it back on the roof. i can move from spot to spot.

Anybody have problems around 100K with their drive shaft being out of round? Rolled 99k Sunday. Stealership said it wasn't the U joint and driveshaft is put of round.

I had to have all my u joints replaced plus the carrier bearing right around 100 K. May want to get a second opinion. What problem are you having? Noise?

Yes, they are Light Racing UCA's. These are the newer style with the greasable ball joints.

If you replace the center carrier, do this. Poly rules.

Group buy happening now as well.

Nice work installing them yourself. I wasn't so confident and just paid $190 to have the same ones installed on mine last week. Well worth it to me. I'm really satisfied with them so far.

Thank you, $190 doesn't sound bad at all. I'm not going to lie, it was chore, for me at least. My wife asked me tonight why I just didn't take it somewhere to have them installed :)

I'm glad you're satisfied with them, looking forward to the alignment in the am. I thought I was going to be ok initially with the alignment after the lift. Just had a little too much positive camber and I was concerned with the tire wear. Oh well, as we all have learned here it's never ending. But it sure is fun!

We're in the same boat, my friend. Initially my stock uca's didn't seem to be causing a huge issue but my camber also appeared to be off to the naked eye and I paid way too much for my tires to have them wear unevenly. Decided to upgrade the uca's to hopefully eliminate that. Cheers to all of these never ending "small" but expensive mods.
