Let me just say that the people "under me" are shi--ing their pants as well I feel bad for the one because he's been a friend of mine ever since he started about 9yrs ago Anyways... I was playing this song LOUD in my truck as I was going in to work today... LOL!!! One of my all time favorites and a very fitting song!!! I am NOT gonna lie that I am a bit scared because nothing lined up as of yet... BUT, keeping "head strong" and staying VERY positive!!! Hence, playing the song just this morning on the drive in and a reminder that I will always be a fighter and stand-up for myself for what is right and wrong!!! I might have to go in to work and do a "configuration file" change and then e-mail... like the good employee that I am, I offered the help Bro, it has nothinggggg to do with getting paid, how much I get paid, overtime, yada yada yada... I want to be able to enjoy life bro!!! That's the point!!! Just within the time that I posted my last post, you responding back... I took the call again and we were talking about "radio" site type information!!! In order for it to work, in a "timely manner", I have to go in to work, adjust a particular file, e-mail it, then hope it works the way it is supposed to work. The problem with certain radio systems, I can only do so much TESTING and the real TEST is out in the field. The one part of the module works just fine. It is "fine tuning" the module that needs to be adjusted accordingly. It's krazy working there bro!!!

 

You put all this pressure on me to get the runner done by next week so we could go so your coming fucker. As I used to say to my roommate I will come down there and drag you by your neck with a tow strap if I have to

Well technically I've been working on it since February... I just wasn't working on the broken bits hahah

 

BRO... how many "broken bits" ya got on the thing???!!! LOL!!! I thought it was mainly just the head gasket???

 

Mainly yes. Other than that I was having an issue with my driver side front hub (hopefully fixed) and there's an issue with either my alternator/ alternator wire. Its putting out 18 volts and has a draw in the system killing the battery. I believe (and hoping) its a shorting wire. As far as other work I've been up to, I was redoing a good chunk of my interior and rust proofing my lights. This was all before I decided to speed up my deadline on getting it done

 

He's been focusing on his interior first haha.

 

I was. I mean I can't drive it with no seats and no gauges. All that shit got ripped out long ago

Kyle, bro, make sure you get the head re-surfaced because it might have "warped" enough to bust the new head gasket eventually!!! Dude, I can't tell you how much I do NOT like car wire harnessing!!! Finding a "short" just SUCKS bro!!!

 

I meannnn technically yes... just slap down some phone books so you can see over the hood and do about the same speed as everyone else and you're good

 

Fuck yeah it is. It took me awhile to trace it down to the alternator wire. What I think I'll do now that I know the HG will be fixed first is I'll take it to my old auto teacher's shop and use this special tool he has. It pretty much heats the wires and makes it smoke where it's shorting. Will make it way easier

 

Fuuuuck dat. I need my gauges now more than ever to monitor how things are going. Gotta watch that temp.

Also with how I drive a stack of books would not be wise hahah

 

Are you going to put in the original gauges or get one of those nice electronic ones that tell you pretty much all that statistics of your truck when running
