Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Just went out and cleaned off the taco, work truck and subi. Taco will get out just fine. Work truck now has a few hundred extra pounds of snow it the bed. The bed is filled to the top. Then there is the subi. I don't think it will be moving for a day or two. The snow is 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up the door, and up to the grill. Not worth shoveling out.

So it was nice to have 4x4 today. But one time when I was turning right. My passenger side cv was binding. Thoughts?

What makes you say it was binding?
I know Snow and ice getting packed into the ifs system can make for some weird noises and vibes.

They where slushy. I heard more of popping and grinding. Driving straight I hear nothing. It only happened while turning right.

So I have heard of SR5, Off-road and Sport. What the hell is the TSS model? Just a gimmick or a fancy decal?:duel:

I don't know for sure. There was snow on the LCA. I didn't check the cv. My focus was on getting groceries in the house at the time when I got home. I'm not working tomorrow. I'll take the truck out to the track and test drive it.

That's normal in 4x4 on roads that aren't completely snow covered as the wheel has nothing to slip on resulting in binding. If using 4x4 I'll pop it in and out of 4Hi depending if I need to make a tight turn and the roads aren't completely snow packed.

That's why I'm going to take it to the track tomorrow and test drive it to see if it was just road conditions. When both Eric's brought that up to my attention I figure I try a surface that has loose gravel on it. I really hope it was road conditions. Thanks for your input

He brings up a good point. Also a good practice when turning corner is to try not to lock the steering wheel and just take the corner a bit wider. That helps as well.
