No pics but lady in a 4Runner in a handicap spot hazards on waiting for friend. So I go up and say hazards do mean handicap spot is okay with no plaquered or plate. She says "we are loading and the girl in the store is pregnant". So I asked her when did being pregnant become a handicap. They got pissed while a few passer byes clapped.

I'd let that pass on the fact No matter where he'd park he's gonna take up four spots and the coolness factor. Where else would come into contact with a unimog capable of running Dakar?

Yesterday I was in a shoe store and parked in the farthest spot in the lot to keep away from bad parkers. This old lady driving a maroon Hyundai SUV wins for bad parking. She must have whiskey throttled the gas instead of the brake. She hit a black Tacoma first spinning it around, then hit three other cars before taking out my rear end then crashing into a light pole. My back end is toast and the tailgate won't open. She was taken away to the hospital with serious injuries before I even walked into the parking lot to see what had happened. How this happens in a parking lot is beyond my comprehension. I hope she is OK but she needs her license revoked IMO. I'm having it inspected officially today. I'm sure there's some more hidden damage given the speed and force of impact.

 glad no one else was injured. hope your truck gets patched up and back on the road soon too!

I was rearended at a red light a few years ago. no major damage but I just had a bad feeling about it so I called the cops. turns out the girl had no insurance, no registration, and at 24 years old already had 4 DUIs. She was put in jail for 90 days, released and was arrested again for DUI within a week....and I drove by as they were arresting her! I ended up getting a restitution check for a replacement bumper as it was a little mangled. As far as I know she's still in prison for that last arrest.

That SUCKS! Be careful, if they decide that there's frame damage or something seriously wrong, TAKE OFF YOUR WHEELS! I've heard of wheels and other items getting swiped from places by employees or trolls because a vehicle is tagged as a "loss" even though it may not get totaled. Then when you ask about them later all you get is :notsure:.

On a positive note I did get a sweet 4X4 V8 XLT F150 for a rental. It has gobs more HP/TQ than my Tacoma, very roomy inside and rides a lot smoother. It doesn't look as good, the seats are not as comfortable as the Tacoma , it has a horrible turning radius and is quite loud in the cab as rain hits the aluminum roof. Overall it's a good truck so far.
