    Hard question.
We can't get rid of all of them but one. We need at least two. BUT if I had to keep one, it would be my F250. No question.

I almost need and very strongly want a full-size.

When my wife and I were shopping for her next vehicle we looked at the new Pilots. I really liked how the exterior looked. But when we finally got inside of one it was like we stepped into our 07 Odyssey. Total disappointment. Honda could have done better.

If I had to give up a vehicle it'd be the tacoma. The F150 pulls 90 percent of the family vehicle duties because of how spacious the cab is compared to the Tacoma.

I agree with the space but my father in laws 2013 back seat is miserable! The Tacoma back seat is 100 times more comfortable but its short on leg room.

I've only seen one and it was on the road so havent really got a good look at the new one yet. Surprising that they dropped the ball on the inside.

I've never heard a complaint from someone sitting in the backseat of my Fords. I don't know a single person who can sit in my tacoma in the back seat without having their knees rubbing the seat and legs bumping the console all the time.

For me, my wife, and bother-in-law were in a the back for an hour and half ride and we all thought the same thing. No lower back support.

I can fit our stroller, my daughter in her rear facing car seat, and a full load of groceries in the back of the F150 without putting the front seats right against the dashboard. It's the better family vehicle hands down. I love my Tacoma for other things, but for the multiuse role the F150 wins for me :)

With 2 kids and a grandma who needs to be driven around every so often the Hyundai Vera Cruz would probably stay over my beloved Tacoma.

3rd row seats are way more comfortable than the back seats in my DC.

We visit family very often. This means 3-5 hour trips (one way) regularly. In the past the Ford was always taken for the trips. This time the Taco was taken for a 5 hour drive with 4 people. Not happening again. The front seats were even uncomfortable.

The point of the thread is to use one vehicle. So for me, and it sounds like you agree, F150>Tacoma when you consider all of the needs of an average family.

I don't mean any offense. I wish that Toyota would make a slightly longer cab or use the space more effectively by making the floor in the rear cab flat. Right now the cab isn't ideal.

I wish Toyota spent more than 5 minutes designing the interior period.
Bring the height of the front seats up to be at least like that of a van or SUV. I have no idea why I'm sitting on the floor of a TRUCK! Drop the floor 2 inches and raise the roof 2 inches. I'm 5'9'', I put a seat cushion on my seat and feel like if I hit a bump I'm going to break my neck.

POWER SEATS people. Or at least 6 way adjustable manual seat.

The flat rear would be nice, but you would lose the storage under the seat. Although I would argue I'd rather have a rear seat like a Ford where I can flip the seats up and have a flat floor for storage.

And yes, make the cab 2-3 inches longer so normal sized people can fit in this thing comfortably.

    Ok I'm done :D

It's okay. No harm in telling the truth. The Tacoma is great for reliability and offroading, but it's spartan for it's price if you have to move people and stuff around in town during the week.

Funny F150 story. So the F150 is much like the Tacoma for EVAP control. Basically it runs the fuel pump every few hours to check that the fuel system is working. Anyways, our F150 has a remote starter and my wife loves to use it. She also loves to run the tank down to nearly nothing before filling it despite my warnings about how that's not good for the pump. Our driveway has a good 10 degree slope to it... can you see where I'm going :p. This morning, and she's done this three times now, she remote started the truck and went outside with our daughter only to find it not running and not able to start. Roll it down the hill... and it starts. Literally the slope is enough that when she only has 10-15 L (3-4 gallons for you folks) left in the tank she can empty the fuel line from remote starting the truck coupled with the fuel pump naturally emptying the tank back into itself overnight.

I mean it's an easy fix and I'm sure the Tacoma would do the same thing but it's hilarious to watch happen.
