I desperately need to wash and wax my truck (hopefully this weekend's weather allows for a detailed driveway wash).

I bought a harbor freight orbital polisher this winter and am excited to see what I can do with it on the truck. The previous owner put some Texas pinstripes all down the sides and they drive me nuts every time the sun reflects off them. The supercrew is large enough I am getting tired real quick of doing everything by hand. Time to come into the 21st century.

 

With any luck, I will be installing the longfields on my trail rig saturday after the baby's swimming lesson. Then she will be ready for a season of beatings.

Psyched--getting my ARB compressor from Dave (UrPebkac) today And Saturday picking up a set of mint doors for the 98 4Runner--half doors perhaps?????

 

Its my TGIF--I know I suck! I get 2 Fridays a week

Sooo, it looks like my power sliding rear window mod will work out. If I get a connector in the mail for the sienna switch I'll get 'er all buttoned up this weekend. I also have a double hung window to replace but that may have to wait until next weekend - priorities you know...

i don't think i'll have time. i have a lot of travel etc coming up and i'm still settling in from the move. they finished it a month early so i wasn't really prepared for its arrival. now that you remind me i should probably clear a space for it in the garage

 

Is it powdercoated already or bare metal.

Mike, have you put more aggressive tires on the F150 yet? What have you been averaging for mileage with that lately?

 

powder coated. just got in the light bar for it, should be coming with the rigid fogs. haven't ordered a winch yet because i thought i'd have more time to spread out these costs haha

 

If you're waiting for the winch this might not work, I was going to say bring it with you next Sunday and we can install it. I literally had mine on in just over an hour. Took me longer to remove the plastic bumper cover than anything else.
