What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

No need to duct tape... You can pickup the hole plugs at Lowe's in their hardware section next to all the screws and bolts.

I used them last night perfect fit noise gone

Mine seemed to go on fine out of the box. Maybe they corrected this issue since you purchased yours?

Thanks, this is my first Tacoma and I really like the 1-2 inch lift these provide. Did you have a local place install for you and what did you set the shock height at on the front and rear?

 

Yea A couple other guys on here fit fine some did not. Mine fit great but when carefully closing it hit between the hood and grill casing at the corners and also right above the lights. Check it out. You are a lucky sole if it does not.

 

Are the body armor steps the same for the 2016 the same as the 2015 model?

How many did you use of each? Was it just 2 of the 9/16" and 2 of the 11/16" caps?

 

Yes. In fact when I opened the box it said it fit 2005-2011 models. Well it fit my 2016 just fine. All the same

I just bought 2 packs... No need to plug all 3 holes.. All you need is to interrupt the air flow pattern to stop the howling. I just plugged 2 holes on each side and the howling noise is gone.
