Me too! I bought mine with 747 miles on it, so technically it was "used"! I've put about 500 miles on it since then. I like it! I'll tell you this, if the motor and tranny don't go the full 100,000 miles, anything over the extended warranty is on Toyota! LOL I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a problem though. That's why I and everyone else in my family drive 'em!

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
2500 miles on mine now. Very glad that I went with the '16. The six speed auto takes some getting used to, but other than that it is AMAZING!! I will be driving this truck for many, many years to come!!!

I need to see it in person for some reason I feel the bar work sticks out too much in pictures.

Like it looks like its not stright from the bumper that it comes up on an outward angle.
Also wonder if its airbag compliant

Ask your brother what Shia LaBeouf would do...

I bought the '16 over a '15 cause the price point wasn't much different for a truck that had been sitting on the lot for nearly 2 years. Also for all the things they changed on this gen (albeit not necessarily that much has changed) the '16 is a better truck in my opinion

If that doesn't convince him... It's new and shiny :0 or tell him to wait for the '17 TRD Pro

I love it enough to give you mine so you have a backup for when yours gets ripped off wheeling ;) (that's not a complaint... Right?)

Mine should be in around the last of March and I can't wait! It'll have everything but the "kitchen sink" is what I'm told! We plan to put rails on it (I'm vertically challenged LOL)
And limo tint the Windows - after those two things we will have to wait and see...
I'm so excited to be getting my very own NEW Tacoma 4x4 TRD Sport, black, long bed, crew cab!!! Wahoo..
I hope that counts as positive!

How do you get into it? Looks like you'll need to test well in vertical at nfl combine.

Does anyone know if the OEM Carpet floor mats are different for AUTO and MANUAL trans? My dealer didn't have them in stock so they had to ship them to me. I haven't received them yet, but will I have any problems if they send the "auto-version" floor mats? Does anyone have any pics comparing the difference between the the two versions if there is one?

Drove a '16 TRD Offroad DCSB yesterday morning while my '06 was in for oil change and tire rotation. It was much quieter going down the road, a bit more comfortable than my truck and I am guessing the 1" or so of extra legroom was the main reason for that (steering wheel needs to telescope more), I was bummed that the sunroof makes the roof low enough that it's probably not an option for me if I decide to get a new truck (miss the sunroof from my '04 Tundra) and was surprised to find the ECT button actually felt like it made a difference. Fit and finish seemed way better and overall I really liked the truck a lot. I definitely want to check out a DCLB when the dealer has one in, 5' bed wont cut it for me.

I've been driving a '93 Hilux 22r/5speed manual for the last several years.
Picked up a TRD OR ACLB this past Saturday. For an old school/old geezer, I'm loving it.

Has anyone heard/seen of the entertainment display just turning off at random intervals? Mine shut off and powered back up 4 times within 25 minutes

I had a really funny experience shopping for a new truck last night... I was torn between a TACO or an F-150. While I was at the ford dealer the salesmen was sitting in front of me and I was telling him how I was torn between the two and another salesman was listening and said how he had to give a guy such a big trade in value of a taco that had 160K on it and was 6 years old... he said I cant believe we had to give him 16,000 for it! He said man those trucks are really built! After he said that the head guy sitting in a tower in the show room came down and said to the sales man "John! Can I talk to you for a minute please!" Right then and there I made up my mind and said ill let you know in a few days... Tomorrow I am going to be placing my order for my new TRD OR 4X4 LB TACO in RED! I went home and told my wife and she said "What an IDIOT!" Kind of what I thought... I bet he got an ear full from the PIT BOSS!

How did you do it and how many coats/cans? Is it smooth or does it have that eggshell feel
