I HAD a strong vibration wind noise issue - Driving 65+ with a head wind. I folded in the mirror, definitely was not the issue. Took it to the dealer, they said they couldn't reproduce the noise. Did several other small tests on my own and finally thought I narrowed it down to the rubber seal between the driver door and the body, specifically around the curve in the door in line with the top of the windshield. I thought I could feel some vibration there on the inside when the noise kicked in. Took it to the dealer, spoke with the top maintenance guy. He wanted to keep the truck again and I said no, the issue is right here, what can you do about it. He grabbed a weather strip/rubber tubing (about 2.5ft long) and wedged it under the rubber seal at that area of the door. I have not heard the noise again. It did the trick! (I pulled the ends out so you can see where the tubing is)

Pages 236 & 237 of the Operators manual address the BSM and some possible causes for the indication you're seeing. One of these is low temperature. Seems like 30* ought to be well within the operating range to me, but maybe you have slush or something obscuring one of the sensors.

ETA: See also page 240 which talks about Conditions under which the BSM may not function correctly.

How's the quality of the KB Voodoo bike mount? I've been thinking about buying one.
