Misaligned vinyl on doors

    Driver side is fine, passenger is misalligned

    I noticed it on my 16 this week too. One side is completely straight, the other is off by a 1/4" or so at the bottom

    Local dealership is going to replace them on Saturday. Maybe safer to just trim the front, i'll need to measure and see if one's too short or the other is too long

    I'd just let them do it.


    If you trim it yourself and cut through the paint, that's on you. If you manage to cut down to metal, even accidentally - say hello to a year old truck with paint and rust issues that won't be covered by warranty because you damaged it.

    Honestly, that's very poor quality control. I imagine putting on those vinyl stickers is done by hand and not automated. I can't believe the guy who did that can seriously look at it and be ok with it.
