i just became the proud owner of a 2014 Tacoma double cab 4x4, 6 ft bed, V6, with a Lear cap.

Love it just put some cooper A/T W tires on it hoping to use them year round. We will see. The standard Dunlops on it were bald and bad reviews prompted the ATW purchase.

That is a sharp looking truck, welcome to TW and good call on the tires! Think about applying an undercoating to your frame, if you don't know about the very long history of Tacoma's frame rot.

Is there a way to tell if already has undercoating?

If you crawl under your truck and look at the frame, it should be clear whether someone has treated it or not. My rule of thumb when it comes to frame rot is it's better to have extra treatment, than having none, so check out a product like Fluid Film.

    Good Luck,
    Mark

    Welcome to TW.

Just a tip, you don't have to say "Double Cab 6ft Bed", but instead you can use DCLB for Double Cab Long Bed. It's much easier.

Thank you when I saw the truck I was sold. I had already looked at the truck specs and reviews and knew the longevity reputation, except for the frame rusting. Zeebart here I come.
