You too. Should be nice. We're visiting her family and I might have a chance on Monday to finish building my truck back up.

You think Trudeau was going to be able to get Obama to reverse his decision on Keystone XL because Canada is going to implement a climate change strategy ?

    PS

My take on the postponing of the withdrawl of fossil fuel company subsidies is strategic so when they offer a loan to Bombardier later this month or next they can point to both and say they are responding to economic issues local to each and then use the Bombardier money to help schmooze the way for Energy East to get a green light

    Wouldn't surprise me.

It also wouldn't surprise me if in 5 years Bombardier is in court because they never finished the development on their new jet and instead squandered tax payer money on corporate bonuses and payoffs.

Seems like Vietnam is a pretty nice place to go on Vacation and thousands of Americans do. I really wonder what all the fuss was about. Half the kids clothes i our stores seem to be made there. hard to spot the commies these days.

Yup. It's a different world since the whole "fight communism to save the world" strategy was officially turfed at the end of the cold war.

We had friends last year do a motorbike trip through somewhere in Vietnam. They had way more fun there then they did in New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, or Singapore.

Trans Canada didn't want a hand out, just a permit. Guess the trains will stay busy. Bombardier on the other hand......................

If Bombardier would just finish the Cseries development and get it on the market they'd sell them. The CRJ has done very well and Bombardier is preferred over Embraer in many cases. They can't sell the damn things though when they aren't certified and still going through testing... after a 3 year delay.

I like Canadian built aircraft. we have excelled at some. I also like pipelines and prefer them over rail. Wonder how the enviros think we win when trains full of oil are rocketing through town. Oh ya, they dont...............

The main opposition to the pipeline proposals that would head this way are with the tankers , not really so much with the terrestrial pipeline

I think somebody mentioned that a couple thousand times

Meh, most of the universal basic income trials I've read about actually ended up costing about the same as the welfare system but worked a lot better at actually giving noticeable results. The way that article was written made me laugh hard though. Here's my favorite quote:
While it's a common turn of phrase it's funny to hear a journalist use it in an article.
