Heads up to older PrinSu Topprac model owners, I bought my Prinsu rack last year and was given thin oval rail inserts you bolt into which then "lock" into the rails when you begin tightening. Long story short they've been popping out while on bumpy trails (one corner or another) with my RTT and eventually my last trip end of January this year the whole rack popped off with my RTT attached and scratched/dug into my SnugTop.

He says he sends square nuts with newer orders now. May want to look into ordering some. I found these, still need to measure to confirm.
    https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Yakima/Y8810074.html

I contacted Scott and he offered to send new square nuts but haven't heard from him in awhile.

The picture was taken right after we heard a loud metal bing. Jumped out to find the rack sitting on the topper all unbolted.

Justin, just saw this. I sent you the new hardware back at the beginning of March via USPS. I am guessing if you have received it by now then it isn't going to make it. I will overnight you a set via UPS today so you don't have to worry about finding the right ones.

Cross post from the Group Buy thread.. thought I'd share my DIY light brackets here..

After having it since Friday and having to go out of town for a wedding this weekend, I finally got it on the truck.

It's still gotta come down cause I didn't get to the weather stripping today and I want to add thread locker to everything, and paint my DIY fab'd light bar brackets.

Really wanted to wash my truck before photos but too tired today and couldn't wait to share... this pollen is horrible both for my sinuses and my truck.
Also have my Toprac sitting in the garage but that wont happen for a while.

After waiting 2 months, I finally picked up my 2016 MGM Offroad. Take a nice long ride and when I get home, UPS made a delivery! What a great day!

    none (yet)
So I've recently moved my wind deflector from the middle position to the lower, more forward, position. I did this after I discovered the wind noise to be somewhere around "hurricane" levels at highway speeds. Moving it down as suggested in this thread did in fact make the noise somewhat more bearable, but I'm still getting some airflow separation and buffeting at some speeds, so I've ordered the suggested bulb seal to try to make it better.

In the meantime, I have noticed that the holes don't line up for the crossbar that my wind deflector is attached to. Am I missing something here? I see other people with both bolts attached.

    LEAKS

I installed my rack early in the week and used ample, large hershy kiss size silicone globs. It sorta rained today and got me thinking:

IF it were to leak, where would I look for leaks inside the cab?

Would it be obvious or be insidious?

I did decent sized Hershey kisses and then took off my rack to PC then added some more Hershey kisses. I think every time I take it off I'll add more. Not that I plan on taking it off all the time

    And it's held up great

Not a bad idea- cause I need to take back off to do the weatherstripping and locktite everything

    Thanks @Blackout14 for the reassurance!

You will see it. I had my rack off at one point without any hardware to plug the holes and I could see little dots of sun light on the headliner from the holes. I owuldn't be worried about leaks though. Even without the silicone I never had leaks. Ran it that way for about 3-4 months.

I can probably round up some of the bare ones. The black ones are black zinc plated. If you wire brush that plating off (it will probably take a bit of force) then you will be down to the bare steel which will rust quickly. Let me see what I can find.
