what kind of switch can i buy to put beside interior light dimmer

im looking into buying one and dont know what is needed in order for it too fit

 

factory fog lamp from a 4runner of same vintage

 

can i then wire my light bar to my battery to the switch inside beside the dimmer??

 

carquest/advance auto parts should have a good selection on rocker switches available. theyre in the BWD line under the URS prefix. such as URS72. if you can get any 1 like this one, you can try and pop it in to see if it mounts properly. if it does, win, if not, find another style. they should have a picture book.

Also if you look for carling style rocker switches on ebay or Amazon they will work and have a bazillion different icons and text for labeling tbeir use.
Most will be just a hair too fat to fit in that spot. On all my rigs i have used that spot with a rocker switch. I have used a large bastard file before and ive used a dremel to widen the plastic a bit. Dosent take but a minute or two, especially with the dremel.
